Augusta in Army boots

Augusta in Army boots | Continue the Experience

Several times a year Ft Gordon conducts a program called Augusta in Army Boots. This is an opportunity for community leaders to spend about 26 hours with Ft Gordon soldiers, in full uniform with combat gear, to observe and participate in various training events. - This is a very popular program and is unique to Ft Gordon, and has received recognition from the Department of the Army for community partnership. You will spend the night in the field in a tent. Each class is usually 12-20 people, depending of how many Ft Gordon units are deployed overseas. The next AIAB will be in the fall when the weather is a little cooler. If you would like to attend, send your contact info to Thom Tuckey and when the next class is scheduled you will be contacted to see if you are still available.
I have done this program and highly recommend it! It is an experience you will never forget.
